Forklift tonnage configuration. Mainly: 1.5T, 1.8T, 2T, 2.5t, 3T; The choice of purchase configuration depends on the weight of the goods and the maximum fork height. Because with the increase of height, the maximum safe weight of forklift gradually decreases. For example, a 5-meter-high 2T battery forklift can fork to 2T during low-level operation, but when it is forked to a height close to 5 meters, its safe weight may only be 800kg or 1000kg at most. Exceeding this weight may be dangerous due to overload. It is essential to know and understand this.

Forklift drive. There are mainly battery forklifts and diesel forklifts; two configuration ratios are considered since indoor and outdoor operations are involved. The power of a battery forklift is much less than that of a diesel forklift. However, battery forklift has the advantages of environmental protection, less noise, small turning radius, and low operation cost. Diesel forklift has high power, high speed, and high-efficiency advantages.

Lifting height of forklift. Considering the need for elevated operation in the warehouse and combined with the height of the warehouse, the lifting height of forklift from 3.5m, 4.5m, 5.5m, and 6m of standard configuration shall be considered appropriately. Several combinations are usually considered separately according to low-level operation and high-level operation to reduce the total procurement cost.

The height of the forklift. Considering that the forklift will enter the container for operation, the height of the forklift gantry is also considered. The clear height in the container is required to be less than 2.3m, and at least two gantries are necessary; However, the lifting height of the forklift will conflict with the height of the gantry. Follow-up maintenance costs. For battery forklift, DC motor or AC motor should be selected, and full AC and partial AC should be distinguished in AC because this involves a follow-up maintenance cost.
