Due to the increase in workers’ wages, the factory realized that the daily work volume of buying an electric forklift could be equivalent to the work done by several workers. Therefore, when choosing a simple semi-electric forklift, the enterprise boss decided on an AC forklift to save cost without considering the shortage of battery capacity, but the AC forklift is the same as the DC forklift. Working too long will cause sparks on the electric forklift and motor heating brush. The reasons are as follows:
1. The brush position of the AC forklift is incorrect;
2. Poor contact between brush and commutator of the semi-electric forklift;
3. Short circuit between Commutators of a plug-in forklift or commutator grounding;
4. The surface of the commutator of the semi-electric forklift is rough and uneven, and the mica between the commutator sheets is prominent; The temperature of DC motor winding and iron core is too high;
5. The goods carried by the semi-electric forklift exceed the weight carried by itself;
6. The applied voltage of the semi-electric forklift is abnormal;
7. The motor of the semi-electric forklift is directly started or reversed too frequently;
8. The motor winding of the semi-electric forklift has a short circuit or grounding;
9. If the continuous operation time is too long, it is better to work for two hours to let the motor sleep.
